Default General Fuel injection question

I know when you work on a FI equipped car, you have to relieve the fuel pressure before you can work on the fuel system. I believe you do this by removing the fuse for the fuel pump, and then run the car until it dies. Assuming this is correct, when you finish and replace the fuse, do you just crank the motor until the pump refills the line, or is there more to restarting the car?

I've never done this, but the fuel pump is electric and runs for a couple of seconds when you turn on the ignition. I'd think that turning the ignition on/off a couple of times would repressurize the fuel rails. Don't rely on this ... I'm guessing.

Sitting overnight the rail will typically loose pressure.

You could also buy a fitting and hose to screw onto the end of the fuel rail valve and drain any pressure to a canister.

I'm with belair55.
Nuttin to it.
Use some shop rags or paper towels to collect the gas that cmes out before the pressure decays to zero.
