I just pulled the rear end to install a new clutch...and saw the leaky butt syndrome. Found good info on that to replace the seals. Once I pull the entire assembly out I saw something at the front of the transmission that I was not sure about...it's a manual transmission, 38k miles...and in the picture you can see that there appears to be a leak between the transmission and torque tube...I looked the window of the torque tube and nothing seems odd but I am not familiar with this at and was wondering get if anyone might be able to help me understand what this might be...
My A4 looks like that with no visible signs of leaking inside. No wet drips or fluid loss.
