1998 external Temperature reading incorrect
My 1998 vette has been in 3 times for an external temperature incorrect reading.
It stays at 68 degrees regardless of the outside temp.Dealer has replaced the temp. sensor and a/c control unit on dash.Still a problem.
Any ideas??

You might want to make sure that the dealer actually replaced the temp sensor (its located under the front fascia in the right corner of the car), or that they reconnected it. Last year my baby was stolen and wrecked, with most of the damage in the right front corner. The body shop did not know about the temp sensor, and it always read 69. This was cool, but got old real fast. I took it to the dealer and they found bare wires, and replaced the temp sensor, which now works perfectly.
