Tomorrow I will be installing some Z06 shocks on the Vert. I checked out tech tips for some advice on saving some time.
For everyone that has changed shocks, are there any lessons learned your willing to share? Or is there already a tech tip write up available?
Thank you in advance for the help.

Update: Shocks are in and what a PITA the fronts were. The backs were easy though. The best way to get the job done is with lots of zip ties and to tighten them as you compress the shock. Use the same zip tie with the compressed new shock to easy install. Whew...time for a beer.
Re: NEED ADVICE ON INSTALLING SHOCKS (Mean Green 2000)
sorry I didn't catch this earlier, how'd the install go :)
I am doing the install this morning. With all the rain lately, it was grass cutting time. Not only do I keep the Vette perfect, the house stays that way too.
Re: NEED ADVICE ON INSTALLING SHOCKS (batsallover)
Front shocks: disconnect the upper control arms ( four bolts, with spacers behind them that will drop our. Make sure you keep track of how many for each bolt). This makes removing and replacing the shocks easy. Forget this tie rap crap. Do it the way the pros do.
