Turning Baer rotors
I was wondering if anyone has had good results turning Baer rotors. Mine are kinda warped and the steering wheel shakes anyone had any sucess doing that.

That's interesting. Baer rotors are gauranteed against warpage? I don't know the answer to your question though.

Turning drilled and slotted rotors is somewhat different from standard units. To keep a quality surface on them, there are several things that the technician needs to do. 1) start out with a fresh set of bits on the lathe 2) do NOT take more than 3-4 / 1000's off each side during the rough cuts 3) finish cut should be no more than 1 / 1000 a side and the draw on the bit should be set as slow as possible 4) make absolutely certain that the arbor on the lathe and mounting cones are free of grease and metal chips 5) make absolutely certain that the mounting surfaces on the rotors are free of dirt, rust etc. Follow these rules and you will have a good cut on your rotors. :D
