Default Solved - American Racing headers and O2 sensors

Replacing the FRONT O2 sensors in my C5. I have the 1 3/4" headers with cats.
Is it possible to do this without dropping the headers?

Thanks in advance for guidance, etc.

As long as you used anti sieze on the threads of the sensors when you installed them it should be fine, if not they could be in there nice and tight causing a few screaming moments and scraped/bloody knuckles.

I used anti-seize when the headers and sensors were installed for certain. Have the x-pipe down at the moment. Next step is to get the old sensors out.

Easy is a relative term. Relative to who is doing the work.

Thanks to all who offered help and advice, etc. In my case on the American Racing Headers I had to remove the mid-pipes to get at the front O2 sensors and install the new ones. And the headers sort of pinch the mid-pipes so tightly that even after the spring hangers were disconnected, and the mufflers unbolted from the rear section the pipes still would not drop.
Surprisingly, it took a bit of effort to dislodge the pipes from the headers.
Of course, to reconnect the mid-pipes and the headers I had to loosen the driver's side from the cylinder head.
Just wanted to put that out there in case someone else could be helped by a report on how it turned out.
