Rev Match
This is my first 6 spd manual but I've been driving manuals since 1964 but I find this car pretty difficult to get the revs to match close when downshifting without the car jumping or braking it down suddenly during a downshift. I don't know if it has to do with the drive by wire throttle deal or what but I usualy end up with way too many rpms just trying to smoothly slow down or just to make some nice exhaust sounds.
I've had this car since June and it's like a new car {2003} but with the torque this has and this amount of gears it seems pretty tricky.
I read somewhere about an automatic rev match option or whatever it is on some cars. I'd just like to know what it is and on what cars have it and is it adaptable to a 2003 C5 and if it is even worth fooling with if it is possible to add it.
I've just never had a car that I couldn't downshift smoothly without a jump first or drag the car letting the clutch out. The car is 100% perfect in all respects that would possibly cause a problem as far as I can see.
This isn't during racing or anything, I just find it hard to match everything up compared to all the other manuals I've ever driven over the years.
Obviously it's just me
