Radioflyer high beam issue
Has anyone had a high beam harness die on them? Can't pinpoint EXACTLY when so I'm a bit lost. Also shouldn't the radioflyers not have the issue of staying up after they've been turned off?
This is really cutting into my late night canyon runs
You said that the new set up is bi-xenon. Are the low beam hids (outer lenses) functioning properly between low and high beam. Is the lens shutter operating properly between high/low changes?
On your high beams (inner lenses) are you using the LED's Radioflyer puts in those sockets, or are you using just plain halogen bulbs.
Just trying to understand whether your issue is related to only the high beam inner lights (LED/Halogen), outer projector lens HID's or both.
All the 4-High harness fuses are in the engine bay fuse panel, did you check the 3 fuses #8, #9, and #10? I think #8 and #10 are for either the left or right headlight and #9 might go to the control module. The harness also has a larger fuse on the hot lead off the relay to the -12v source. Also, did you check out your ground wire connection from your harness. It is possible that the 4-High relay module has crapped out.
Radioflyers ballasts and hid bulbs should provide enough load to eliminate the headlight doors staying open when turning the lights on/off. I've never had to do the flash the high beams to trip them into closing.

I double checked all my fuses and connections. No fuses were blown and made sure each was seated properly. Pulled my ground and made sure it was connected. My next step will have to be I guess using a multimeter to make sure everything is good. I also plan to pull the lights themselves because I need to tighten up the bulb/projector connection as the hids have a bit of dance to them.
Testing:
Turn on the high beams, disconnect the trigger wire from the high beam fuse and touch it directly to the battery terminal on the fuse box. The low beams should come on.
There are 3 possible issues:
1) Check the fuse in the harness itself
2) Reconnect the trigger fuse to high beam fuse and try touching the ground ring terminal to the battery negative.
3) Check the relay itself. Remove the relay and run a jumper wire of at least 16 awg between the red fused wire terminal and the output wire to the low beam. The low beams should come on.
