C6 navigation head unit in c5
Hi guys & gals
Have anybody tried to install a c6 navigation head unit in a c5.I already have a double din console. Installation is not a problem. Will it work? I have no problem taking it to a gm dealer to change the vin number. But not sure if it will work with the c5 configuration?

Even if it would work, you would probably be better off still using an aftermarket radio. You already have the correct console for the swap, a new radio is probably cheaper with alot more useful and enjoyable features and will be easier to install.

People call me call me all day long pulling them out of the C6 for aftermarket. So not only will it not work. You really don't want it as they are no where near as good as aftermarket.
