C5 instant over rev
for no reason my c5 will start over revving. Instant high rev where you have to break hard, go to neutral tap the gas and it stops. Just Started and is scary in traffic. What area control this thanks for the help.

You sure nothing is caught under/around the gas pedal? Floor mats can shift around during a panic stop. You could also be accidentally touching the gas with your foot under a panic stop.

throttle blades sticking? Maybe the TPS sensor? Check all your connectors at the throttle body and make sure they are not dirty or corroded.
