Default PCM Question

I got down to storage today to pull my PCM- Gonna finally
do a tune this winter.

The Outside of the PCM is very "corroded" and crappy looking.
So much so, that I had to pry it out of the plastic casing mounts.

I have never had any PCM issues in 17 years..
When the car was 2 yrs old the battery did puke and
the positive cable assembly was replaced..
But never any Issues.

Should I look for a new/used PCM ??????
Or Just clean my PCM up and send it out for the tune ???

Thanks for your advice in advance

Carefully clean and reinstall your PCM.

Mine was incredibly ugly as well. What a dumb place for the ECU......

I cleaned it up really well, and actually took it apart to make sure no moisture had gotten inside.
Perfectly clean inside.

You will be fine I'm sure.

Thanks for the replies !!
I'll clean it up nicely and send it out for "fun flash"
The bottom area where everything plugs in looks fine..
