Service engine soon???? on DIC
Why does this "Service engine soon" keep displaying on my DIC? I can't find my owners manual. I checked with my AutoTap and cleared a couple codes but still get the message on start up.

i had the same problem a coulple of days ago. i cleared all the codes and it stopped.
did you check the codes? and if so what did you come up with.
mine started to do it at 16.000 miles and it freaked me out but as soon as i cleared them and checked the DIC again nothing has come up.

I just had a new cam, higher stall convertor, 3.42 gears, intake, FLP trans and few other things installed. I got the car back and and bounced it of the rev limiter a few times before my LS1 Edit came in. Now I fixed the Idle, gear scaling, etc and checked it with my Auto Tap. It must have had 20 codes so I just cleared them (stupid me) without checking what they were.
