Default fast idle
i have a 99 w/auto trans. when coming to a stop, the car feels like i have my foot slightly on the throttle. i feel it downshift to first, the car will move at 6-8 mph if i lift off the brakes. idle speed in gear is 700 rpm, neutral is 750 rpm. this ocurrs even after warmup. any thoughts out there?

That's definitely high for an A4 after warmup. Any codes? Any vacuum leaks? Those would be my first places to look.
