Default ls7 clutch install, bellhousing question?

I managed to take my stock pressure plate out without removing the bellhousing.
The design of the ls7 flywheel is such that it's causing clearance issues to put the ls7 pp and disc in.
I found this article and they appear to have a LS7 install going in and they did not remove the bellhousing. Any suggestions?

Got it done!
Corvette Central article said you can leave the bellhousing on, they didn't mention if your installing anything other than stock, to loosen the bellhousing, no biggie I figured it out.
