Bilstein/ Doug rippie coilover issue
Bought these off eBay for cheap, but I then noticed both rear upper spring cups are wallowed out on the shock shaft and the one is missing the circlip on the shaft all together and the shafts pushing up into the cup.
Is there supposed to be a washer between the aluminum cup and the circlip on the shaft?? There's a small counterbore in the spring cup that looks like it's supposed to accept the circlip so I would think there's not supposed to be a washer. But why would they design such a small clip to hold a shock shaft!?
I'll be calling someone in the morning to see if I can buy replacement spring cups or I'll make new ones I guess.
