Default Any reviews on new Speed Engineering headers?

I just found out that Speed Engineering came out with 1 7/8ths headers for C5s and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them. The price is very attractive and they seem to have decent reviews for their fbody headers.

Damn is that so?? I had their 1 7/8s on my f body, excellent piece at an even better price point. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase. IIRC they made multiple adjustments to the f body headers listening to what was needed. I ended up picking up a set of LGs I need to put on so I'm not too sad.

My only hesitation is that you have to cut the stock catback, but otherwise, I might be the guinea pig and try these out

I've always heard good things. After seeing your post, I sent them an email about install. Depending on install, if I don't have to do anything crazy with the steering shaft or lift the engine at all, I'm gonna go with these.

Also would like to know about ease of install, fitment, fit and finish, sound with the provided "off road pipe" and HP gains... these are really attractive for the price.. kind of hard to justify spending $1200 on headers for a car that I paid less than 15 grand for then another $3-400 for a dyno tune....

Well, I was holding off to see if anyone else had a review of these, but apparently not so I decided to pull the trigger and buy a set. I'll write a review once I get them in and installed
