Steering Column Lock
Well its finally happened to me. The steering column locked today 3 times when pulling out with the Vert today. I used the tried and true, " rock the wheel back and forth a few times", repair method.
Is the steering column locking problem a recall item? Since my extended warranty has expired, I'm hoping I can get it covered on a recall.
Also, have there been any incidents of the wheel locking while driving? Sure would hate to have a lockup at 80mph on the highway.

There is a recall! I just had my car in for it, but the catch is your vin number
has to come up on the recall so call the dealer first.
They changed the lock mechism and relay know it won't lock!
