I have heard some say that with stock heads and cam you will get minimal gain (if not lose some hp) with LT headers. Just curious if I would be wasting my cash if I bought some LT headers. Im not planning on any H/C work. Im not sure what I heard is true so anyones thoughts on this subject is appreciated. :seeya
Re: Will LT headers help without H/C? (mods to come)
Whoa, who told you that one?
You will definitely be gaining HP with LT Headers. Especially if you've got an 01, 02 , or 03 corvette. In 2001, they added an extra 2 pup converters up front, and with LT headers, these go :seeya
From what i've read and heard, you'll gain about 15-20 at wheels, not to mention more torque as well!
Your next question will probably be which LT headers? there are several to go with. you'll get TPIS, LGM, TTS, and FLP recommendations. Most of them are 1 3/4" primaries, and the TTS is 1 5/8" primaries, with 3 inch collectors!
Whichever ones you choose, you'll gain power :yesnod:
You will gain horsepower with LT headers. With a stock engine I have heard of as much as 18 RWHP to as little as 5 RWHP, you will gain more if you were doing cam and heads.

With intake mods only, I picked up 12/12 and the car is running rich as :reddevil .... As others have said, it is a good mod and gives you the option of h/c, s/c, turbo, whatever, without restricting flow.
