My new shift light
A few of my bruddas came over this weekend and hooked this up.
As you can see it's about the size of a mini mag light. You can get some more info on this light at

The bracket almost looks like one of those little microphone clips that come with cheapo microphones, like those for computers ...

I don't know much about these kinds of things, but it looks like your fuel pressure may be a bit on the high side.

Very Cool !! :yesnod: The Dual Pod Gauges look great too! :) I know what the top one is for, what is the lower gauge for?
BTW, I just got my Dual Pod and new boost and fuel pressure gauges about 10 min ago from Fed Ex. Looking forward to installing this stuff right away. :smash:

Wild,  That does look a little funky. Must of snapped the pic just as it powered up.
vetterdstr, the bottom one would be for the funny gas. :D ;) Guage pod is cool but it does sit kind of close to the steering wheel.

Cool light. May have to get one of these for mine - just need to decide where to mount it.

Re: My new shift light (NoMercy)
The gauge pod, gauges, & lite make for a very attractive package and they all flow with the theme of the Z06: Carbon Fiber/Black/Red.......very cool!
For those interested in getting in on the Raptor lites, they should be available in early October. Please drop Rick a line at Raptor Performance and let him know that Bill & Dave from Hawaii sent ya!

Re: My new shift light (NoMercy)
NoMercy:
That looks great. I'll apologize up front for the questions, as I am thinking of a similar set up and trying to decide which way to go.
1. Is that the AutoMeter gage pod (assume it is as those are A/M gages)?
2. Does it cover the stock piece or is it a complete replacement?
3. Did the color match or did you have to dye / paint it?
4. When you grip the wheel at 10 o'clock how far is the closest gage from your knuckles?
Thanks for any input you provide.

Re: My new shift light (JWz06)
JW, Here's the scoop
1. Yes.
2. Just slips right over the stock pillar. Nice tight fit. A little velcro keeps it there.
3. Color matched perfectly.
4. I have hit the pod with my knuckle before.

Btw, red LEDs are the best for not destroying night vision if you are trying to pick a LED color...

Very . It would be really neat if somebody could figure out how to install it in the center air vent for a nice stealth install. :yesnod:

Re: My new shift light (mrkln)
harlan (from harlan shift lights) has his in the vent. I like the in your face approach. I have a blue harlan, at night ( if I were to street race) the light shines bright blue in the cabin... give a WTF look of the guy i would be racing.
