Default Stock C5 temperature gauge

What temperature is this? What's that line that the gauge is almost pointing at supposed to be? 160? 180? Other? Before it gets mentioned, I know traction control and ABS have been disabled.

I agree. The analog gauges don't have all that great of a resolution. The digital gauge in the DIC will give you the exact number. As for the picture that looks like it should be somewhere between 180 and 190. 190 being the line before 220.

Thanks guys. Just knowing that the little line is 190 helps a lot. I never thought about scrolling through the DIC to find out exactly what it was. Duh. This is good news for us as I know the tuner can tune more aggressively if the temp is running 180-190 than if it's running 230. We're getting ready to try to do something I consider special and I need every advantage, every horsepower, every pound off the car possible to have a chance to get near what I want. More to come.
