Help with Lightweight Battery Parts
Today I really struggled in trying to find parts. I want to install a light weight battery around 11.5-12 lbs if I can.
What terminals can I get locally or order. I would like to get a deka or inexpensive one around here.
I know autozone and oreillys are made by east penn.
Any advice suggestions Thanks.

Melting Slicks
Google it there are several companies that make them. They aren't cheap.

This might help. It's what I used and I just got an Autozone battery and have had it for almost 2 1/2 years. I keep a trickle charger on it and no problems.

would work as a normal battery for starting the car if you are using your alternator. Not a battery you can keep the radio on without the car running

have you ordered from this Apex battery before? Because thats not a Dekka battery.. it's a Chinese equivalence. may or may not mean much, but the ratings for that site in particular suck. im curious for the price, but i think i'd buy it kind of expecting it'd be a $30 gamble.

Good point. Also, I think it depends what year Vette you have. The terminals on my '04 are on the top, with the negative inboard and positive outboard, so the PC680 wouldn't work in its normal config, since it looks like its positive terminal is inboard. However, I understand that other years of C5s have the terminals on the side of the battery, so maybe that makes a difference hooking up a PC680 on its side?
It doesn't look like the 680 has a reverse polarity option. But it's so small that maybe just flipping it could work.

OK finally bought an autozone EXT20L 15.5 lbs 310 cca, so far so good, but I noticed on my volt meter that the charge slowly goes down say fully charged at 13.0 down to 12.55 in a 13hr period, is this normal?
Before hooking everything up I check the battery voltage from factory its 12.55 volts.
