Running pretty big cam and wondering where mafs should be located. It's located now near front part of air bridge. Wondering if it should be located just in front of the throttle body? It is running rich and throwing codes 1175 1155. I'm running varram with power bridge. Thank you

When I installed my Vararam, the instructions told me to move it closer to the throttle body so I did. I got a tune because I was running lean afterwards.

I have a touch of engine oil on the throttle body blade (from the pcv) wondering if the maf element will get fouled by oil vapor over time?
Anyone have issues with that?
not a chance unless it is pouring oil into the intake, the MAF is still upstream from the throttle body and when you let off the gas the throttle closes.

Yes, there's a chance. It's vapor and collects into droplets when big enough. There's oil residue/stickiness into the beginning part of the air bridge.
I run my engine hard when out for a spin, the aftermarket catch can collects oil, but plenty (enough) makes its way into the intake manifold and also to a much smaller degree, the air filter side of the throttle body.

I drive mine hard too, never had to clean any oil out of my MAF or even the front of my throttle blades. Now the back of the blades and the inside of the manifold is a different story. Maybe you are over oiling your air filter?
