I'm in the middle of taking my old blower motor resistor out and replacing it with new (blower controls only work on level 5). I have the step by step instructions that fellow member Patches was kind enough to forward me and I'm following them fine until now:
How, on God's green Earth, am I supposed to get to the forward retaining screws (nearest the dash mat) loosened? I have one backed out and the rear retaining screw removed but I can't get to the other forward retaining screw to loosen it and slide the resistor out. ANY suggestions? I had to take a break - I'm dizzy from basically standing on my head to get this far. Anyone done this before?

I GOT IT! After contorting my body in a way it shouldn't go I got it. My blower motor now works!

Sometimes taking a break is the key to success.

I've also found it helps to pull the seat out so you can lay on your back and eliminate the contortionist act. It is only 4 nuts and an electrical connection if you have power seats.
