Just replaced both left and right blend doors. Removed entire dashboard, and man, some of the trickiest contortioning required, but got em in and saved several hundred dollars, and now I have my AC back! Thanks to the posts showing me how!
LOL, reminds me of a story of a brain surgeon I work with. He buys a used Knucklehead Harley and the trans needs to be rebuilt so he rebuilds it. When I asked him, Mike, how did the tranny come out he said..."Pretty good but I did have a couple of bolts and ball bearings left over "
I will be having my dash out soon for other repairs.
Should I just go ahead and replace these? I live in FL where the heat is seldom used but A/C near constant if that matters.

It's a 20 minute job and a cost of $60.00 or less if you get the dorman parts off of ebay. Do it now or do it later, that's up to you.
They just came in today. I ordered them shortly after posting. Someone was selling them, (Dorman 604-106) for $17.99 so it was a no brainer. $36 is piece of mind for a 15y/o car.
