This is embarassing...looking to replace the low beams on my C5, and from the posts I've seen on the Forum, it's supposed to be an easy job...just unscrew the 3 screws and remove the plastic shroud, and then I should have access to the bulbs...there's no way I can seem to get my hand behind the light unit, getting even to the high beam bulb is hard (closest to the inside), and the low beam looks next to impossible. Is there anything else that needs to be removed to get to the bulbs? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers

I just did mine the other day and installed the Blue - bright white bulbs. I did mine on one side without even removing the bezel. GRanted it was a tight fit, but I was able to reach around (hood open of course) and reach in there and twist the socket out. When I took off the bezel on the other side, it was much easier.
You know, I think it's time I got some sleep...as obvious as opening the hood might seem, sometimes you need a kick in the butt. That did the trick, thank you. The right lamp (looking from inside the car) was definitely harder, as you couldn't see the opening for the bulb. I installed the new Sylvania SilverStar lamps ... when I first turned them on, it wasn't as white as I had hoped, but when you compare it to the other bulb that I left in there (one new and one old at the same time), it's a huge difference.
Thanks again for your help!
Cheers
