Throttle Body & Module Codes
Ever since I took my 98 Coupe to have a K&N intake, shorty headers, and Corsa exhaust installed, when I punch it and do a long hard pull I get a check Traction System Control, Reduced Engine Power, and check engine light comes on.
I looked up the codes the dealership came up with when diagnosing the car.
P1120 Throttle Position (TP) Sensor 1 Circuit
P1211 Mass Air Flow Circuit Intermittent High - Read Our Article on Automotive Circuit Testing For Help With These GM Trouble Codes
P1516 Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) Module Throttle Actuator Position Performance
Can't have the throttle body replaced as GM has discontinued the C5 throttle body part with module. So I either need to find one that works and hope I don't get ripped off, OR WHAT IS MY OTHER SOLUTION??
I was thinking of getting a larger throttle body but don't know if they come with the modules or need module. Can anyone help with a solution to this problem?? Thanks, Mike
