Last week a had a problem with my lights when you turned them I'm they would take a LONG time to pop up And come on. But the issue seemed to solve itself. Now this week my wipers are bugged out.
Background* I was driving yesterday and hit a small bump and my wipers went up and down once. Then kept parking and unparking for the rest of the 45 min drive. This morning I drove 10 min just fine again hit a bump and now they seem to be running on low speed and won't shut off.
I checked the utters and all 4 we're dry

Most common cause of the wipers running all the time is the button on the end of the stalk being jambed in enough to turn the wipers on all the time. Numerous threads about this cause if you search....
Not sure if this is my issue. I saw that tho, the wiper stalk will still control the speed and I can still use the squirters just fine. But when it's in the "off" position sometimes it will actually shut off and park. Other times it just wipes at random speeds
Disassembled the switch and found out how it worked. Manually split the contacts and the wipers are still going so this was not the issue. Next step is the actual wiper motor right?
took the wiper motor out, split it open, and there was a bit of water inside, Pretty sure that is my issue, drying it out now. if it dosent fix it, ill grab a new one from autozone. Mod can close post
