Ok this happend to me about 1 month ago, I get in my car and I go to start it and the DIC starts saying, "Reduced Engine Power" "Serv Tire Mon Sys" "Low Fuel" "Low Tire Pressure" "Service Engine" "Service Vehicle Soon" And nothing won't start windows don't go up, alarm won't turn on. So the dealer the first time said nothing was wrong and gave it back to me, now it happend again. I checkd to make sure my battery wasn't leaking on the PCM and what not. Any idea's to was the HECK is goin on? I am soon goin to sell this damn thing and keep driven my C3.
Yeah I know dealerships kinda slack off when comes to fixing things properly. Considering I worked at a Chevy dealership I seen what goes on in the back and you would be suprised at some of the poopie I seen pulled.
I remember a thread like this. Did you check all of the connections under the passenger side kick panel? These cars basically have a Local Area Network running and if certain connectors loosen even slightly and the communications between the various modules gets interrupted, you can have this problem.
I saw very similar symptons including it telling me the engine was overheating (even though it hadn't been started in a month at that time) and discovered that we had bumped a connector only slightly loose when messing with the fuses.
Should I just have a new PCM installed? Cause the warranty runs out in about 5 months so I am hoping all the bugs get worked out before the warranty is up.
