Default Centric rotors

I been reading on a lot of members using centric rotors, are they just a good multi purpose rotors?

I don't track or autox the car yet. But do have a pair of hawk HP's track pads. Until I mod the motor the car will be used on the street.

I have a full set of Centric rotors on my 2001 and have had no problems with them at all. Been on the car for 2 years and about 10,000 miles.

the high carbon ones are the good ones. the recycled iron version seems more prone to squeal.

i can not explain why, just have observed it

That's been my experience. The high carbons are worth the extra cost. The Cryos were not.

I would get them locally, at TireRack or Amazon

Get the cryo-treated ones - I put the slotted on the vette and then on my '02 4runner and my "rotor wobble" issues seem to be gone...

I sell them, and like others have said, the "125.xxxxx" series are the ones you want. The "120.'s" are just an oe replacement.

You can also do "126.'s" for slotted, "127.'s for slotted and drilled, or "128.'s" for drilled only.

I just installed a set of centric premiums on my car. Love them. Very good quality and good price. I found the best price on rockauto.com . I installed power stop brake pass to go with them and am happy with those as well.

I've used Centric stuff on many cars, on an off the track never been disappointed with their stuff. They're the same company as StopTech.

I have their slotted rotors up front, and blanks in the rear. High carbon, cryo-treated.

I just have their standard rotors. Put them on last year along with OEM pads. I'm happy with them so far. I picked everything up off Amazon.

I'm running exactly this, but a C-6z conversion....I have not been kind to my brake system, but even after 3 years of abuse, there are still the factory machining cross-hatching on them!
