bad bcm??
I have a 2000 m6 which is having some electrical issues. I don't have codes right now as I had top leave the vette in the driveway and take my wifes car to work. I have been getting a random no start condition. Sometimes waiting 4 min and trying again will fix the problem, other times I have to do the 30 min pcm / bcm relearn procedure to get it to start. I had this problem a number or years ago and it seemed to fix its self. The key is not the issue, I did the pellet bypass mod. Also the grounds seem good. Also , the security light will come on and stay on at times. All this is leading me to think it might be the bcm. Does the bcm control the security? Any other reasosnwhy the bcm/bcm would loose connection? Every time I get in I have to cross my fingers and hope it starts. Very frustrated right now.
