The Rear: Jack up the car.. take the wheel of.. its easier that way.. you will see a stud going through your leaf spring.. loosen that nut on the stud until you have about 1 to 2 threads showing.. repeat the same thing for the other side of the rear.
The front: Same as above but turn the nut on the front clock wise until you bottom out. and thats it..
Your car will sit like a 4x4 at first but just drive it around and your suspension will settle and your lowering will be complete.
Sounds easy, but the back still has me a little confused. Just jack it up and loosen the nuys 1-2 threads? Leave them lose and that is it for the back??
The front seems easy enough. I just want to go down 1" overall. The other sets of instructions on the forum were also not very clear. Anyone have pictures of this. I do not want to take the bolts out and cut bushings.
How do you get the back lower??
tito gave you the correct instructions on the rear. Think of it this way. Your lowering the body over the suspension. I did mine with no hardware mods and ended up at 26 1/2 f, 27 1/2 r. Takes about an hour and I didn't take the wheels off. Good luck :yesnod:
