390 Rear End

Has anybody had a 390 rear end installed and did you have successful results? Or would we be better off with a Corvette 373?

The 3.90 is a very good choice for daily driving and the strip for a mildly modded car (say up to 420 rwhp)... If you are going to big cubes or a power adder, you will just turn you tires into smoke... I like the usefulness of 6th gear, no need to downshift to pass... In my opinion, 3.73 is not enough different from 3.42 to make a difference or justify the cost... If you are going to do it, go for the 3.90 or 4.10 gear...
