Anyone have any suggestions on how to get a power steering pulley that has the pulley flange broken? Any brands and, or places to find a different puller than the kind that utilize the lip around the pulley shaft.
Or a different method all together?
That i'm not sure of. I had my unit rebuilt by Turn One
Probably a good choice. Mine's shot. I've got to get a new one. The pulley has welded its self to the gearing-shaft of the pump and I've cut as far into the sucker as I can without just cutting the shaft off. I've seen some stock on pulleys in my day, uh, but damn!!!
So moving on. Anyone know if an ls2 pump will fit and work in a 99 c5? I know I'm not that lucky. I've got my new steering bracket and new ls2 ps pulley all ready and waiting.
Onto to the rest of the blower project until I can get a new pump.
Use a dremel and a small bit that is a de-burring bit along with a small cutting disk. When you get close, use a chisel and some blocks of wood to support pump and shaft. That s what I did a few months ago. As long as your pump was good, its worth it. Price out some new/rebuilt ones. You may need to dremel 2 sides if one wont do it.

Didn't you look at the picture I posted, in the other discussion, where I showed how to cut the pulley?
