Default C5 driver power seat moves while driving

Hey there. When I drive my beautiful C5, the driver power seat seems to move slightly when I brake and accelerate. Is there a way to tighten it

The infamous rocking seat issue. There is a kit for fixing it but you have to take the seat track apart.

There are two areas to look at. Does it slide slightly to and fro, or is it kinda like a rocking motion? The to and fro motion is fixed either by installing nylon washers or a kit to the adjustment screw. The rocking motion is usually a broken or bent clevis that attaches to the seat for up and down adjustment. Look here.

I ordered one of these kits a few months ago. Still haven't gotten around to installing it. The directions seem like a real pain in the ***.

I looked at the bottom of the seat and was like wha.
It was a little tedious.

I had and repaired both problems. I made all the parts to fix mine, but if you buy the parts it shouldn't be to bad.

Actually, that is the one I have. The directions don't work for the corvette and it doesn't come with tools. I'm not sure what the bolt is for but the shim's work. There is enough for both seats too.

I didn't see this on amazon when I looked.
Thanks for posting it.
