Default Great car but there's ONE problem (abs)

Picked up a 99 base a few weeks ago, everything is great but I have the dreaded abs and traction control lights. I've read a LOT on this topic, my codes are c1243 and c1217. I've called around and am aware the 97-00 ebcms with the c1243 codes can not be repaired. Also not spending 2k for an active handling module. Today I'm going to try cleaning the grounds and then jacking up the rear end and easing up to 9mph to "jog", the motor. Has anyone else had these codes and cleared them in a different fashion? Thank you so much!

Both of those codes are the BMPV and not the EBCM.
C1243 stalled BMVP pump
C1217 open relay for the BVMP.
I would check and clean your grounds and check the relay for the BVMP.
Could just be that the pump stalled with lack of usage. You can jump the pump and exercise it. Sometimes just doing quick stops in a safe wet place will bring it back.

I read somewhere that you could jack up the rear end, put it into second, and ease up to 9mph, which would jog the motor, is there any truth to that? Or just run a wire from the battery, straight to the terminal on the pump?

I have heard that to. Have never tried it. Don't like running it in gear on jack stands. Give it a try and post your results.

Test for good ground from the ground stud on the Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) through G101 on the frame rail, between left side headlamp opening assembly and generator.

Test the resistance through the pump motor to G101 with the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) disconnected from the BPMV. The resistance should be 0.2 to 10 ohms.
