Desperately Need Help !!!
Hello,
I have an 01 corvette with 48K miles. It ran perfect for past two years. Last week while starting her up the check engine light came on with "Reduced Engine Power" light also. Played with it and finally she acted right. Then the "Low Voltage" light came on......accompanied by the "Service Traction System" light. It's been doing this off/On for past week, but I could still drive it. Suddenly yesterday while driving I came to a Stop sign, and she died without warning. When I turned the key...it's dead silence. The gauge needles jump up/down erratically a million miles an hour....and the display has "jibberish" blinking erratically too when I turn the key to start. The battery is 12.36 according to my volt meter. My mechanic is about 3 miles down the road, but I can't even start the car.
I would really appreciate any help or opinions at this point!!!
