I put 2015 Z06 after market wheels on my 2001 C5 about a month ago. They were balanced on installation. I had a shimmy when I hit around 65mph and got worse as I hit 70-75mph. This is shop who does all maintenance on my Vette. I brought it back and they re-balance the front wheels. No change -still shimmed at about same speed. I talked to representative from company I purchased the wheels from. He was very helpful and recommended I have the shop or another shops opinion.
He recommended the shop confirm its a front wheel from test drive, usually feel it it's a front wheel. Once confirmed dismount tires from the wheels and perform a bare rim run. Find a shop with a LCD screen that shows the radial and lateral run outs to eliminate the tire being the culprit.
They did all this and after the 3rd balancing from two differs shops nothing has changed. Still Shimmys around 65 and worsens as speed increases. Looking for any suggestions and advise.
Thank you

Assuming the shimmy can be felt in the steering wheel? Have an alignment performed.
