Default How much for complete MTI422??

I know I'm probably looking at slightly less than 18k, since the MTI site offers a HUGE package for that. But all I really want is the bare minimum. I'm no where near getting the package yet, damn I don't even have the car! I'd rather ask you guys than waste their time, you know?

I'm just lookin at the

MTI resleeved aluminum 422ci
MTI Stage 3 LS6 heads
MTI custom solid roller camshaft

and any other MTI MOTOR mods. (no NO2)
(Rocker arms? Lifters? Valves? Crank? etc)

What would I be looking at?

20K all day for a solid roller set up which is much more expensive than hydraulic cam route and then you would have extra costs involved most likely for headers, intake etc.

SHould be able to get it down for about 3 to 4 K cheaper with a hydraulic cam. Also, you coud save money if you have them build you an ironblock which is much cheaper tha a resleeved LS1 by about 1500 to 2000.00 dollars. Ironblock bored out to .060 with Lunati 4.125 superstoker crank=427 cubes and could probably be done for 14 to 15K in a hydraulic cam set up with MTI. If you shop around you can find some other smaller shops/tuners who are real pros who could build you the 427 iron block for about 10to11K (hydraulic cam) for the complete longblock minus install, headers and tuning of couse. I myself like the ironblock route better as i am hearing more and more horror stories about resleeved LS1s dropping sleeves and leaking coolant and you will not have this concern with the ironblock. THe trade off there is the ironblock is 90 to 100 lbs heavier but i will take this for the bullet proofness of the ironblock and overall confidence level that she will hold together after mega beatings! FIgure another 1K for headers and of course you will have more costs for install and tuning, etc. This crap adds up quickly

Best of luck
