is there an easy way to measure rear trim height

The factory measures it from the inner lower a-arm pivot bolts to the ground.

When checking for rake, most racers will measure the rear at the metal just rear of the rear tie down and for the front it is measured forward of the front tie down part. At those points you are looking for 1/4" of rake--front being lower.
