Default Rear Discs - A Difference?

So I was looking at my rear calipers on my '00 today and noticed that the rear discs are marked LR and RR. I'm guessing for right and left rear. However, they are on the opposite sides (right on the left and left on the right). I've not noticed any problems with braking. Is there a difference? Is it worth swapping them over to the other sides?

The vents in the rotors' circumferences are tailored to each side.

If you're just driving the car normally then there's no real cause for concern and you can just leave it alone. If you did switch them around ideally you would want to have them turned as you've probably put some mileage on them with braking forces from each caliper.

I'm not trying to insult your intelligence. The left side of the car is the driver's side. Many get that confused.

I personally would want them on the correct side. You may want to scuff the surfaces before remount in on the proper side.

Yep the cooling vanes located inside the rotor are directional. This is the case for all four corners.
