Depends on what year the car is. 97' to 2000 can only be found used and are getting hard to find. 01' and newer can be bought new and cost about $70. The part # for the newer one is 88965543. They take about 2.5 to 3 hours to replace. Replaced the one on my 04' a few years ago and has been fine since.

I am a new member here.
I drive a C5 1999 Convertible - 150.000 miles on it.
I have had many electrical problems with the car and last year I had to rebuild my Automatic transmission, but i still love my C5.
I have been at my local GM shop, to fix my yellow lamp ( Service Active Handling system)
They telle my, that my car ned a new " Steering position Sensor", but it is not available at GM US, or anywhere.
