Default Power steering, not so much

I just replaced my rack less then 10,000 miles ago. I bled the steering the old fashioned way, tires up and turning the wheel a billion times and it was perfect. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. At a stand still when I turn the wheel it is pretty stiff and when it rains it gets harder to steer at low speeds, under 20. I did the old fashioned method again and it was fine again. Today it is back to being rough at stop and turning corners at low speed. I checked the fluid level and it is fine, I don't see any leaks at all under the chassis and the rod ends are not bulging. I want to blame the pump but I'm not sure the testing method. I have to add I do have an underdrive pulley by 25%.

Sounds like you might have a slipping drive belt........

This makes no sense, but I found the answer.

Yesterday when I left work my traction light and ABS light came on and my brakes were pulsing, the abs light would disappear, then the tcs light would also disappear, then after a couple seconds they would both come back on, it kept doing this until I got to the gym. I checked the DIC and it said TCS-No Comm. After looking through some posts I thought my EBCM was fried. After my workout I went to the parking lot and checked to see if maybe the connector was loose and sure as **** it was almost all the way out. I pushed it back in and then started her up. Lights did not come back, no codes in the DIC and the most entertaining thing? My power steering is back to normal again too. That makes very little sense to me how the plug being loose makes the power steering very tight and hard to turn.

I suppose it's possible the intermittent/flaky contact resulted in bad signals to the Magnasteer, erroneously stiffening the steering (like it does when you are at higher speeds).
