Which TT guibos for ~550whp?
My torque tube needs rebuilt and I refuse to drive the car until it's done. What I want is a quiet bushing that lasts a long time. Will the GM stuff hold up? Do I just call up RPM and be done? I haven't really seen numbers thrown around as far as power capacity, I figure it varies a good bit. Car will probably never see the strip on slicks, maybe once or twice for a slip on street tires. Car (04 Z06 with 1 3/4" longtubes and catless 3" x-pipe) is getting a Kenne Bell blower that looks like it'll make 520-550whp plus whatever gains flex fuel get me if I ever get around to it. Mostly street, canyon carving, and some auto-x maybe. I have a race car if I want to turn competitively. I'm sure this has been beaten to death but I wasn't finding anything recent and I know how parts tend to change and stop being made.

I've had dss couplers on mine for the last few years and they have served me well... I opted for those because they aren't as forgiving as the oem couplers and all aluminum seemed too rigid for a street car... a mix of one aluminum and one dss is another option... if you want to take it a step further dss offers a 3.5" driveshaft that completely eliminates couplers but I've heard they can vibrate a little at idle and low rpm... I installed the dss couplers on my stock driveshaft when I did my clutch and when I decided to upgrade driveshafts I ended up going with a dss 3" driveshaft and reused the couplers... so you have plenty of options
