I just changed my radiator because it cracked at the plastic corners and helped a shop replace it. The problem came after I got home and noticed it was leaking transmission fluid from the bottom connection of the radiator. I rolled it up on some make shift ramps and disconnected the hose and put some plumbers tape on it and it quit leaking, but I lost about a plates full of transmission fluid taking it apart. do I need to worry about it or next time I change my oil have them do it since I don't have a lift? I also changed the water pump too because while I had everything apart and it was starting to growl a little bit, it was going south. I replaced the thermostat also and all the hoses, so hope fully I will be good for a while.

I recently had my radiator removed for some work and when they replaced it they didn't pre fill the radiator's trans cooler on the side of the radiator.
I took it slowly to a nearby dealer and had them check the A4 fluid level, it was down almost 1/2 a quart.
So yes, I would worry and you need to get it properly checked and topped off.
