Just picked up an 02 C5 Z06 and the Drivers Side power seat is non functional.
There is a code in the system and A6-SCM B2607 H C is what comes up
I did some searching around and that seems to mostly be related to the seat back, however the entire seat is not working. Could I simply just need a seat module?
I'll keep searching but figured a post would help me along as well.
Honestly did think to look under the seat yet. The car is already in my shop under a cover but I plan to go down there on Thursday so I will definitely take a look at that as well as look at the switch panel. May look on eBay tomorrow and see if I can find a switch and just replace it first. Has to be cheaper than the module.

Suggest before ordering a new switch (which is a bit of a PITA to to do), check the two power connectors under the seat. The +12V contact was so corroded in mine that little of the contact was actually remaining and the wire came loose....so with no +12V nothing works.
Now getting to these connectors is going to be a problem if the seat is sitting low and even getting to the four seat nuts is not going to be easy if the seat does not move forward/backwards. But with a a bit of patience and an open end wrench you can get the nuts off, raise the seat, put something under it to keep it raised and then un-mate the two connectors to check the conditions of the contacts.
I had to replace the contact, so if you need a contact let me know as I had to buy a bag of them to get one.

Much appreciated! I'm heading down there now to look at a few things and I'll see what I can find. The previous owner was a short guy so the seat is up higher so it may not be that bad to get to.
The plug was in fact disconnected, however that did not 100% fix the issue.
The seat moves in every other direction but does not move forward and backwards. I when I move the switch, I can hear the relays clicking which tells me two things. 1. The switch works. 2. The module is still okay
Now comes the big question... If the motor is in fact dead, which I have seen happen before on other cars, how easy are they to replace, or do I need an entire assembly? I really can't drive the car with the seat where it is. My knees are jammed up against the dash.
Thanks!

I suggest pulling the seat out, put it upside down on a bench and do some poking around. You might find that the motor wires are damaged and is an easy repair.
Also could be the seat module has a couple of cracked solder joints that switch power to this motor and again could be an easy fix.
I have never read about anyone replacing a seat motor, nor have I ever seen just a motor available.
If you end-up having to replace the entire seat frame, let me know as I may interested in buying your old frame as the one in my '04 has a problem that I would like to try to repair on another frame.
If the motor is non-responsive with 12V applied, try this last ditch fix. It worked on my seats lumbar air pump motor.
Disassemble enough to get a cordless drill chucked up on the motors shaft and use the drill to spin the motor at high speed for about 30 seconds. Sometimes the brushes in the motor just need better contact with the commutator and this procedure will wear some of the brush material off providing that better contact.
I was going to try that, however that mechanism and the motor were completely gone from the track. I ended up making a small tool by hand to individually turm the screws via the small square hole at the front emd of eatch adjuster screw on each track. What a time consuming pita. It sucks cause my passenger seat is mint in the car. If I could find a mint condition clean c5 z06 seat to match, id keep the stock seats cause I really like them. But its definitely looking like I am going to head for some Corbeau A4 leather seats. They seem to be a very popular choice
