Default Wiring issue

Just got my car back from LSXPERTS, got them to do a few things including installing three new cobalt gauges on the pillar. I had already installed three before but just wanted the cobalt look. Getting it home I noticed when you turned the light switch on to turn headlights on, the gauge lights come on but my DIC and gauge cluster along with my a/c head unit lights would go off but flip the switch back to off and all the lights come back on including DIC read out. I am not a wiring guy but I did do the original pillar gauges and everything worked fine. Does anyone have any idea where I could start first to figure this one with the last choice being pulling them all back out myself ?

Thanks guy for that advice. Just got back home and super glad that was it. Not sure why the dimmer was off but glad that was super easy to fix. Feel like a big idiot not even thinking of the most simplest thing but none the less glad it's not something that requires a lot of work

awesome. when i was in the biz i would wire gauges to the dimmer circuit so they could be dimmed. some gauges are just too bright for night driving.
