When do your radiator fans switch on?

I'm noticing that sitting at idle for a while my coolant temps seem to rise pretty high (~220 deg) yet the fans don't seem to activate on my new car. What temperature do your fans come on?

Whenever you run the A/C the fans come on. If you're not already, turn the A/C on and your car might cool down a bit.

The setting can be modified in the PCM using LS1edit or similar tool. I think the factory setting with out the A/C is 229. :cheers:

I'd like to know at what temperatures people here have typically been programming their fans to come on at. I'm fixin' to reprogram and would like an idea of what folks are running at.

Mine come on at 194.

Buy a Vinci Hi-Performance fan controler and you can set the fans to come on at almost any temp. with a small screw driver. It's just as easy as that!
