Great! any chance it might have just come unplugged? it is visible from the driver's side floorboard without removing panels etc. (I'm not able to look under there for a while.) it throws the error on the IC with just the slightest movement or the wheel after start up.

Also, regarding the way you asked me to pull the codes. Am I correct in assuming this might be a good way to check on any screw up after service? (like I just went through)

Thanks again for the input and help...you're made my life a little easier knowing what it is going into this and not letting someone bullshit me into this, that or the other as some mechanics like to do.

As far as pulling codes, I do that on a regular basis on my own car just to see what is happening. I still do as much of the work on my car as possible so I do not have to deal with the BS that one often gets from a Stealership. If there is ever something I cannot figure out with the aid of my shop manuals I come to the Forum for assistance.
