i have an older c4 vette with 4.09s. Even though i have a 500 hp motor my first gear is still useable ( helped a lil by the 7200 redline of course). Remember this..... in my brothers camaro the car used to spin more in st gear with the stock 3.42s in the back. When the car had 4.10s it ran better in first gear... why???
Physics again..... basically by putting in a 410 youre making the car easier to move from a stop, which will more likely result in forward movement instead of wheelspin.
