Skip shift eliminate interchangeability

Any one know if the skip shift is the same between 05 GTO and C5 Vette. I kept the skip shift from my GTO but it throws a code in my 02 Vette. Any ideas?

Solder in a new resistor, the c5 resistor is 2.2k -ohm, 1/2 watt

So I did some research on the GTO forum. They're the same resistance and wattage as a C5. So what gives? It should work

Forget about it. Skip Shift is a non problem. Just drive around it. When taking off slow from a stop shift to 2nd gear before 14 mph or after 19 mph. Easy to remember except when you are in heavy traffic following somebody closely. That is when you will tend to delay the shift into the skip shift area and the shifter will move to 4th gear. When you feel that happening quickly move the shifter forward into the beginning of the 3rd gear gate and pull back into 2nd gear. Can be done in one fluid motion once you get used to catching it. No sense spending the time figuring out what is going on with your module.

It isn't worth spending 5 minutes on it.
